I'm a big fan of grits, but have always eaten the white corn grits like you get in restaurants and at the grocery store. Never again! I bought yellow corn and red corn grits. The yellow corn grits are by far the best grits I have ever eaten, anywhere, any time, and I'm convinced the way the corn was milled and its freshness had something to do with it. If there's a drawback to making grits from this corn it's the time it takes to properly cook it. Who would have thought that 25 minutes, salt, water, milk, butter and cheese could produce something this good. This yellow corn makes the best grits in the known human universe.
