Come learn all about how to take your sourdough skills to the pizza oven with savory connoisseur Art Orozco of Abby Jane Bakeshop! This course is perfect for those wanting to experiment with creative sourdough applications, savory flavor building, and outdoor cooking.

For this course, Art will take you through the science and art of crafting wild sourdough pizza. You will learn about bread science, building a pizza dough recipe, executing ideal dough fermentation, choosing the right stone-milled flour for ideal flavor & hydration balance, and firing your pizzas in our shiny new Gozney Domes! Art will also teach you how to take your pizza to the next level with creative sauces and toppings - if you've tried any of Art's pie creations next door, then you have experienced his skill in curating flavor using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

During class, you'll be able to build your own dough from scratch using Art's formulas and techniques to take home and fire later in your week (those dough babies gotta ferment!) But, never fear - Art will also be bringing in some dough that's ready to be shaped and fired by the end of class, so you'll get up-close experience topping and firing 1-2 pizzas with Art's selected sauce + topping menu. We'll have both omnivore & vegetarian options available, but in keeping with the spring season, Art will be preparing a chef-special pizza creation to enjoy!

Beginners are welcome, and encouraged to attend.
