In this intermediate, designer pasta class, students will take their pasta making skills to the next level, creating visual delights in the bowl with colorful, flavor-infused doughs and designs. From herb laminated tagliatelle to root-veggie striped ravioli, we will create gorgeous pasta for both the eyes and palate.

    We will craft:

    • Herb Laminated tagliatelle
    • Striped ravioli
    • Polka-dot farfalle
    • Floral garganelli

While this is a more “technical” class in regards to the time invested and attention to detail, all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to flex your creative pasta muscles.

    Things to look forward to:

    • Have an opportunity to work with our own fresh stone-milled flour
    • Learn about different pasta techniques and shapes to create your own beautiful works of flavor.
    • Work with different purees to incorporate into your pasta dough for fun color combinations!
    • Master the art of shaping pasta dough into a variety of shapes!
    • Tour the mill with our Education Director
    • Purchase BSM products at a class-exclusive 15% discount

A little bit about your instructor:
The Salty Dough Company s a first-generation, Italian-style kitchen specializing in pastas made from local and sustainable ingredients. Founder and sfoglina, Stephanie, blends her Italian upbringing with her passion for crafting flavorful doughs from stoneground flour and fresh produce in a collection of dried and frozen pastas. She is on a mission to educate consumers that thoughtful, small-batch, slow food is a better bite all around.
