Join us at the mill for a low-key dinner, demo, and tour of the facility! You'll be chilling with the Education Center co-directors Kimberly and Nadia, dining on a curated corn-centric dinner featuring BSM polenta and cornmeal, and learning how to take it easy with outdoor cooking on Gozney Domes. We hope you join us to learn more about your local mill and dine on savory and sweet creations made with BSM corn. Purchase a ticket and ride solo ready to make friends, OR purchase two tickets and make it a date night for 20% off the single ticket price. This event is BYOB for guests 21+, so bring your favorite adult beverages and friends for a delightful spring evening at the mill. For ideal pairing with the menu, might we suggest a buttery chardonnay, porch-pounder rosé, or maybe even a chenin blanc?

Here at the mill, we love to take it outside whenever possible. Nadia has been busy dreaming up this spring's Family Meal menu, which will include Gozney-baked polenta (we've figured out how to take the stirring out of polenta-making, and it's easier than you would think!) topped with seared cod loin and charred allium and vegetable salsa verde. For dessert, Nadia has adapted her culinary degree and experience to craft a no-fuss cornmeal cake (yes, baked in the Gozney Dome) with brown butter crema and caramelized banana. During this experience, you'll watch as Nadia shares tips and tricks for working efficiently in the kitchen, balancing flavors using fresh ingredients, and satisfying that sweet tooth with some unlikely friends. As you move through the components of dinner, Education Director Kimberly will share an in-depth look at the how and why of Barton Springs Mill, and you'll enjoy a curated tour of the facility from ethos to production. To wrap it all up, take home recipes for everything you make in class to use to your heart's content.

Family Meal is perfect if you want to enjoy a low-key, but thoughtful dinner event at your friendly neighborhood mill. We can't wait to see you.
