    Join us for an immersive culinary experience as we explore the art of creating a classic Pear Frangipane Tart. In this hands-on class, you will learn to craft every component of this elegant dessert, from the buttery tart shell to the rich almond frangipane filling, all using premium ingredients, including Barton Springs Mill's Mediterranean flour.

    Under the expert guidance of our instructor, Katya, you'll discover the versatility of frangipane, with tips on the fruit you can use and on customizing the filling with flavors like vanilla, citrus zest, or liqueurs such as rum or amaretto. You will also learn essential techniques for preparing a perfectly balanced tart that complements all elements in every bite.

    At the end of the class, you'll take home the unbaked tart to enjoy the aroma of freshly baked pastry in your kitchen. This class is ideal for those looking to elevate their dessert-making skills and is designed for bakers of all levels. Enjoy the class and make a Frangipane tart a perfect addition to any special occasion or holiday meal.

    In this class, you will:

    • Master the process of making a foolproof tart shell
    • Learn the techniques for preparing a smooth and flavorful frangipane filling
    • Receive guidance on pairing seasonal fruits with your tart
    • Take home a ready-to-bake tart, along with additional tips for baking it to perfection, proper storage, and serving

    Class Policies:

    By purchasing tickets to attend one of our classes, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our Participant Class Policies and Media Release. Close-toed shoes and a head covering (such as a baseball cap) required for all classes.

    TICKETS ARE FINAL SALE, NON-REFUNDABLE, and NON-TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER CLASSES. You may transfer tickets to another person to attend in your place - simply have them check in under the original name used to purchase the ticket(s).

    Touring our facility requires that all participants adhere to health guidelines - all touring participants (included in ticket) will be required to remove most jewelry and piercings, and wear a beard net (if applicable) and/or hair net. Close-toed shoes are required for entering any part of our facility. 

    In keeping with low COVID risk level in Travis County, masks are optional and up to personal discretion for this class.
