Join us for this workshop dedicated to one of the most famous Japanese street foods: gyoza!
In this hands-on class, you will learn to craft every component of this Japanese classic, from the delicate dumpling wrap to the delicious aromatic filling, all using premium ingredients, including two of Barton Springs Mill's best sellers: Stardust and Butler's Gold.
Martina will walk you through the dough preparation, learning all the secrets to transforming our stone-milled flour into paper-thin dumpling sheets. Pork, Chinese cabbage and soy sauce are three of the many ingredients that will create the perfect filling for our gyoza. After mastering the dough and the filling, it's time for the most intimidating step: shaping our dumplings! You will learn how to shape your gyoza using the traditional Japanese method. And finally, it's time to eat! We'll cook our gyoza, creating that delicious crispy bottom that makes gyoza so unique, and dip them in a spicy dipping sauce.
