        Light as clouds!

I just made biscuits with this flour and they are delicious! I bought whole berries and milled them myself. I sifted out the larger pieces of bran and germ (I add this to other foods or smoothies and to my dog's food) to make the flour super light and fluffy. I have found that to be a good practice with other soft wheat varieties. However, I may try leaving the flour whole next time as my biscuits kind of spread out, like they didn't have enough structural support. But they tasted incredible! So light and fluffy on the inside they practically melted on my tongue! A nice, mild nutty flavor with a hint of honey flavor. I can't wait to try this wheat in banana bread! I highly recommend this wheat!

        Biscuits and pasta

We keep finding wonderful ways to use this grain. My husband made his buttermilk biscuits this morning and used 100 % fresh milled Purple Straw and they came out light as air.. We have now been using it also to make pasta. He is the pasta guy as well. He uses 50% Purple Straw and 50% Semolina Rimacinata. Outstanding texture and flavor. I hope others will write reviews.
