Pasta al forno - or baked pasta - is a centuries old technique for cooking and enjoying pasta with a bit of a crunch. While there are plenty of variations and takes on a “pasta bake”, we will focus on two classic styles: a traditional spinach pasta lasagna layered with bechamel and tomato sauce and a ricotta and swiss chard rotolo.

In this class you will learn how to craft silky, fresh spinach lasagna sheets (that don’t require any pre-boiling), how to master a rotolo pasta bake that will impress, and the simple techniques to achieve both a crispy and luscious bake that all will enjoy at your table.

BYOB is fine by us for participants 21+ 🍻

    Things to look forward to:

    • Have an opportunity to work with our own fresh stone-milled flour
    • Learn about different pasta techniques and shapes to create your own beautiful works of flavor.
    • Work with a spinach puree to incorporate into your pasta dough for a fun color and extra nutrition
    • Craft, build, and bake TWO pastas al forno to take home and enjoy
