Grab your favorite person — whether it's your partner, best friend, or foodie-in-crime — and join us for a hands-on pasta-making adventure that’s as playful as it is delicious!

In this interactive partner pasta class, you'll work side by side with your guest to master the art of fresh stuffed pasta from scratch. Together, you'll roll, fill, shape, and cook three classic Italian favorites, each with its own story and flavor:

    • Tortellini – Small but mighty! We'll guide you through the fold-and-twist technique of this iconic ring-shaped pasta, stuffed with a savory blend that packs a punch.

    • Cappelletti - a type of stuffed pasta from Emilia-Romagna and Marche, Italy, whose name means “little hats”—a nod to their charming, folded shape that resembles a small, peaked cap.

    • Fagottini - (Italian for “little bundles” or “small packages”) are a delightful and slightly lesser-known type of stuffed pasta, beloved for both their elegant presentation and versatility.

With music, BYOB, and plenty of laughs, this class is all about connection and creativity. You'll leave with new skills, full bellies, and hopefully some new favorite flours.

    Things to look forward to:
    • Have an opportunity to work with our own fresh flours, stone-milled right here at Barton Springs Mill
    • Learn tips and tricks for stuffed pasta shapes
    • Make, stuff, eat, and take home fresh made pasta!
    • Tour the mill with our Education Co-Directors
    • Purchase BSM products at a 15% discount

BYOB is fine by us for participants 21+ 🥂

About your instructor & BSM Education Center Co-Director, Nadia Rodriguez:
I got my culinary degree in 2018 but have been working in the culinary industry for 10 years now, with both savory and pastry experience. My passion for cooking started early with my grandmother, and I believe cooking is sharing love. I adore Italian, Asian and Latin cuisines. I love to curate flavors for individuals and make something unique and one of a kind. I love sharing the knowledge I have gained and showing how amazing ingredients such as Barton Springs Mill flour and the attitude you bring toward those ingredients can truly transform food into an experience. My ethos is have fun, do it with love, and you can't go wrong. :)
Growing up as a Puerto Rican in central Texas there was always a lack of good local spots that could support my cravings for the delicious fried, flaky and delectable street foods I was used to growing up eating to back home in Philadelphia. Whether you are a fellow Boricua craving a taste of the Island, or a newbie who is intrigued and would like to know more, I invite you to join me. You won't be sorry!
