New! Organic Long-Grain Rice

Decided to give this Texas rice a try since everything I have purchased from BSM has been outstanding. This rice was no different! I never knew something as simple as white rice could be so deliciously different from store bought. This rice cooks up perfectly every single time no matter how I cook it - inexpensive rice cooker, in a pan on the stove, directly in my casserole...perfect every time. The taste is fresh and buttery. It doesn't clump or get sticky. In the interest of transparency, I don't always rinse it first and yet it never fails. I have shared this rice with friends and family and they all respond the same way - first thinking "how can this white rice be any different than store bought?". And then the rave reviews and the, "can you get me more?" I will NEVER go back to store bought rice again - NEVER! I have also used the brown rice with much the same joy!

Great texture and taste

Best rice I have ever eaten. It elevates a simple rice pilaf to above and beyond. My only disappointment is not being able to purchase it at the bakery along with the flour, ectera. I live in New Braunfels and the rice is worth the drive. Instead I have to order online and pay postage.

This rice has the perfect texture and light flavor, allowing garden herbs and veggies to shine through. Love how fresh it smells and tastes too!
