  • TOUR: Wednesday, 4/23/2025 (CLOSE-TOED SHOES REQUIRED)

    Time

TICKETS ARE FINAL SALE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. By purchasing tickets to attend one of our tours, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our policies stated below and Media Release.

    Date: Wednesday, 4/23/2025

Times: Select your preferred start time from the options above. Tours are 1 hour long.

Cost: $25 per person, 10 years of age and older.

Dress Code: CLOSE-TOED SHOES ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER OUR FACILITY. Shirts/tops must have sleeves that cover the shoulders, per health code standards. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will provide you with hair nets and beard nets before entering the production facility.

REFUNDS NOT AVAILABLE FOR TOUR PURCHASES.

ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. CHILDREN 10+ MUST HAVE TICKET TO PARTICIPATE IN TOUR. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE YEARS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED INTO THE PRODUCTION AREA.

TOURS MEET IN THE EDUCATION CENTER (MIDDLE DOOR OF THE BIG WHITE BUILDING). DOORS OPEN AT THE TIME OF TOUR (10AM / 11:30AM / 1PM).

Due to the nature of our production process, only individuals 5+ will be able to access the mill room and storage warehouse during production hours (Monday - Friday, 7am - 5:30pm). Groups including children younger than five years of age can still come for a tour - if the tour is during production hours, we will take a peek through our large picture windows at what's going on in the mill room!

Each tour includes an in-depth look at the why and how of Barton Springs Mill! You will learn about the history of the mill and how our values are put into practice each and every day at the facility. You will learn about the different classifications of wheat and grains, and how we work with farmers to bring you the freshest flour possible. We will take you through each part of our facility from the beautiful Austrian mills, to the storage warehouse, to our trusty seed cleaner!

After the tour, you will get a chance to get personalized recommendations for how to use any varietal of our stone-milled grains at home - whether you're a pizza pro or a sourdough starter, we're here to make using stone-milled flours approachable and fun!

Masks not currently required for facility tours.

Our group of friends enjoyed the tour conducted by Kimberly. She was knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about this fascinating process from seed to table. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and very courteous. We learned a lot and loved seeing the beautiful mills. We were disappointed that the bakery closed early that day - we were planning to snack before heading back to the city. Will be making a big order from Chicago soon! Thanks!
