Fall demands chili & cornbread…even if the weather doesn’t actually deliver crisp temps! It’s perfect because it’s the meal that nourishes your body, and can be made ahead of the big game or a family gathering.
In this class we’ll harness the incredible quality of BSM organic stone-milled cornmeal to make a classic skillet cornbread. Each guest will whip up a flavored butter using local honey and their own spice blend. We’ll use the amazing Hopi Blue to make cornbread muffins that are the perfect “take along” for everything from tail gates to Thanksgiving. Pair your cornbread creations with a serving of BSM’s Wheat Berry Chili. One more great reason to keep wheat berries in the pantry year round!
As we mix and bake you’ll learn the origins, history and science of cornbread. Discover how to personalize your cornbread with recipe variations.
This class is perfect for home bakers, food lovers, date night, family day or anyone curious about using the unique products BSM offers beyond grains!
