    Love Barton Springs Mill

    We have been using BSM flour, cornmeal, and grits for a few years now and we love the product. We now use it exclusively and have referred many family and friends to Barton Springs Mill products.

    Excellent for Most Uses

    Firstly, I was excited to find BSM and have loved everything I’ve purchased to varying degrees. The variety of stone-milled flours they offer has made my baking more fun, and the flavors cannot be beat!

    I found the Stone-Miled All-Purpose Flour Premium Blend to be excellent in rolls/buns, quick breads, coffee cakes, and pie crusts (made with lard, of course!), but I didn’t like using this one in cookies. I was not able to use it 1:1 in my cookie recipes. The flour has a nice weight to it and is very soft, with a deeper flavor than store bought. Excellent product, but maybe not a true 1:1 (even in those wonderful pie crusts).

    Never knew it would be so different

    I was introduced to this product by my daughter-in-law who is a baker. After working with this flour during the holidays, I am hooked! I never expected to see the difference in handling the dough and the improved elasticity it provided.
