Finally cool enough to bake here in the PNW-been waiting all summer to bake something with this flour.
It was so worth the wait though!
Had bananas that weren't good for just eating so I used this flour and made some banana pecan streusel muffins-OMG-so tender and fluffy with loads of flavor!
Tonight I made cornbread with it and YUM-even though I left it in a couple minutes too long it's still moist and tender.
This is my new favorite quick bread flour! Thank you so much for rescuing this for us Barton Springs Mill!

I included some in my whole wheat yeast bread at about 1:2 ratio and the bread has a nice texture and is very yummy, especially when toasted

Wonderful company! Exceptional flour. Quick to fulfill order. On a previous order, one of the 4 bags of four had a small hole in it and was leaking flour. I mentioned that in my response, yet also stated I will be ordering more in the future. The company, without my request, sent me a replacement. I was surprised (sorry, my history with this company is just beginning; but from what I have since heard, this is typical of their continued excellent dedication to present this exceptional product in the best light). Even before the replacement bag was delivered, I signed up for one of their baking classes. I am happily and eagerly awaiting continued, mutually beneficial interaction, and can whole heartedly recommend (and have!) Dripping Springs Mill.
