Bulk order - Sonora wheat berries

Have been buying Sonora wheat five pounds at a time from The Farm Connection in San Antonio. Saw that BSM offered bulk whole berries so decided to take a road trip to pick the order up. This grain seems smaller than previous orders, probably due to less rain, but still tastes great! Use it primarily for cookies, muffins and sweet breads but will try it in tortillas next.

      Fresh and very fragrant

The yecora rojo wheat berries arrived well packed and when I opened the sack to pour the berries in a container I was blown away at how fresh and fragrant they were. Yecora Rojo makes outstanding bread

      Beautiful Grain!!

Besides being beautiful, my sourdough starter couldn’t be happier. Have already made bread, and it is super complex and smells like toasty heaven. The best part is the heritage and organic stewardship, which we all need more of in our current mono-culture world. Thanks Barton Springs for all your hard work on this one!!
